Yolanda Pittman Hill
Bio
Yolanda Hill is an evangelist in the Church of God in Christ and currently serves in the Texas South Central Jurisdiction. Bishop Prince E.W. Bryant Sr. is her prelate. Lady Hill works diligently with her husband, Dr. Charles Hill as First Lady of Norton Memorial Temple Church of God in Christ (COGIC).
She grew up in Saints Chapel COGIC in Houston, Texas under the leadership of Pastor Benjamin Edward Boulding (her maternal grandfather). She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and enjoys singing about Christ’s unconditional love and new mercies to her audiences whenever she has opportunities to present.
Yolanda has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, and a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Business Education from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana. She has studies toward her Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from the Houston Graduate School of Theology in Houston, Texas. She is retired from the Fort Bend Independent School District and has worked as a high school business education teacher and middle school counseling facilitator/testing coordinator.
Yolanda is a recording artist and a member of the Church of God in Christ’s International Mass Choir and Praise Team (Send Judah First). She has released four (4) SINGLES written and produced by Stephen Mayberry: Songdré Productions; “It’s Morning”, “Come Let Us Magnify the Lord”, “See a Light in Me”, and “That’s Who You Are”. Her children (Jason and Deria Hill and Jessica Venable) are included in the background vocals along with her cousins (Monae Mayberry, Keana and Stephanie Mayberry) and additional supporters (Korrey Williams and Rachel Ridgeway). She has written a song (produced by, Matthew Pittman) that is dedicated to her life story and book, “Pretty Black: Fearfully and Wonderfully Made”.
Yolanda loves God, His people and seeks to live out her call and purpose in everything she endeavors.
